Great news everyone! Rhyon has been nominated for a Young Artist Award in the BEST PERFORMANCE IN A TV SERIES (Leading Young Actress) category! She's up against Miranda Cosgrove ("iCarly"), Miley Cyrus ("Hannah Montana"), Chloe Greenfield ("ER"), Emma Roberts ("Unfabulous") and Jamie Lynn Spears ("Zoey 101"). 'LINCOLN HEIGHTS' 3RD SEASON & NAMIC NOMINATION!
Hey Everyone! I have more great news regarding 'Lincoln Heights'! The show has been picked up for a 3rd Season! We've waited so long to hear that news and now it's OFFICIAL! Not sure of when production will begin but hopefully it's soon! Also, the show has been nominated for Best Drama in the 14th Annual NAMIC Awards! Two of the shows episodes are in the running for this award, "Abduction" and "Spree," so they have double the chance of winning! Other shows competing are 'Life Support' and 'Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee'. Winners will be announced on April 16, 2008. CONGRATS to all the cast of Lincoln Heights!

'LINCOLN HEIGHTS' NAACP AWARDS NOMINATION!
Happy 2008 everyone! I have some wonderful news to share with you all! 'Lincoln Heights' has been NOMINATED at this years NAACP Awards in the Best Drama TV Series category! The show was also nominated for Best Directing TV Drama Series (Kevin Hooks), Best Writing TV Drama Series (Kathleen McGhee-Anderson & Anthony Sparks) and Best Actress TV Drama Series (Nicki Micheaux). A big CONGRATS to our girl Rhyon and all the casts of this fantastic show! They definitely deserve it and I'm hoping that they win!

Hey Everyone! I got this information from Mrs. Nicki Micheaux (Jenn Sutton) Official blog on MySpace. NO 3rd Season for the show has yet been confirmed, but the season's finale ratings were really good! The season finale had the largest numbers ever! It had just as many viewers as the Kyle XY season finale. So, hopefully there will be a 3rd season. However, they do not want to take any changes; so if you would like to help you can write to the President of ABC Family, Paul Lee and tell them how you feel about Lincoln Heights and why you love it. 2 NEW GAMES! WORD SEARCH & SLIDING PUZZLE!
I've updated the fun section with 2 new games. One of them is a word search puzzle; it's simple and really fun to do. All you have to do is find the hidden Rhyon-related words. This one (unlike the one I added not long ago) you do not have to print-out so everyone should be able to enjoy it. Each time you refresh the page, the puzzle is different so that makes it more fun.

The other game I added is a sliding puzzle where you have to try and reorder all the pieces. Those are really hard for me to do; I think I only got those right one time in my entire life! That is, other than the many times I cheated (but that don't count, right?) Hehe. HAVE FUN with the new games!

Tune in tonight at 8pm on ABC Family for an all-new episode of Lincoln Heights! [The Feeling That We Have; Another shooting in the Heights occurs between rival gangs and the police, leaving Eddie and Lund struggling to maintain order; and Cassie gets so into her artwork that Charles feels excluded from their relationship.] Sounds good, but I must admit, I'm a little annoyed that they are starting to make this show seem like it's all about Cassie and Charles and not the whole family like it was in season one!

RANDOM UPDATES: PICTURES & AGC VIDEO!
Check out this sneak peek of the new ABC Family site! They have so many great new features coming this month. They've updated the 'Lincoln Heights' section and there were two new stills of Rhyon that I added to the gallery. I absolutely adore that first one, she looks so cute! Check them out.



Also, I found this video about the Amazing Grace Conservatory. If you don't know what that is, the video can tell you better than I can. I just know that it was founded by actress Wendy Raquel Robinson and lots of young Black actors got their start there, including our girl Rhyon. Just check it out... you can see Rhyon in the video, she comes in at about 5:00 or somewhere close to that. Her sister RaVaughn is also in the video, she's in around 7:00 or so. She and one of her group members from THICKE sang acapella and they sounded amazzzing! You can view it below. (It's small, but you should be able to click it to make it bigger. Hey Rhyon Fans! I am SO sorry for my lack of updates this week. I have been so busy with so many other things that it's been hard trying to update ANY of my websites, but I'll do my best.

Did you all enjoy the season premiere of Lincoln Heights last night? I know I did! This season looks like it's going to be so good, even better than the first. I can't wait til next week! Anyways, I've added some video captures, already, of Rhyon from last nights episode to the gallery. I did not add a video just yet because of some technical difficulties but it'll come some day soon. If you missed the show last night you have another chance to see it this Friday at 10pm on ABC Family.

Inner-city family drama reaches new ‘Heights’
Predictable yet still entertaining, prime-time television’s sole drama starring African-Americans makes a welcome return tonight.

Last season on ABC Family’s “Lincoln Heights,” Los Angeles police officer Eddie Sutton (Russell Hornsby) moved his wife, Jenn (Nicki Micheaux), and their three children into the inner-city to take advantage of a home ownership incentive program. Eddie believed he could change the community he grew up in.

The next months were difficult. Eddie shot and killed a teen felon, setting off racial tensions in his community. Youngest daughter Lizzie (Rhyon Brown) was kidnapped in retaliation.

Hey Everyone! I have a small update for you today. I've added 2 new keepers to the site. Caity and Kortney are now the keepers of Rhyon's curiosity and acting skills. You should check out why they chose to keep those things and maybe you'd like to keep something yourself. I've also added 1 new affiliate and 1 more promo still from Lincoln Heights season one.

LINCOLN HEIGHTS SNEAK PEEK CLIP!
Hey Yall! Guess what?! I have another update! Can you believe it? I know you can't, but it's ok. Hehe... Well, everyone is buzzing about this SNEAK PEEK clip that ABC Family is showing through-out the day and many people can not seem to catch it, BUT I have it right here for you to see! Hey Everyone! As I said I would, I've updated the gallery with 20 new pictures of Rhyon! The pictures are of her on the sets of Lincoln Heights, seasons 1 and 2, as well as on set of NUMB3RS. There are some others which I'm not sure where she is but in those pictures you can see her with other actors including her Lincoln Heights co-star Erica Hubbard, Keke Palmer and Camille Winbush. The pictures are really cool so be sure to check them out. They were all given to me by Rhyon's mother so many thanks to her!

NEW LAYOUT! MORE TO COME --- SOON!
Hey Everyone! As you can see, we have a brand NEW LAYOUT! I've worked really hard the past day and a half to get this designed and coded as I wanted the site revamped just in time for Season 2 of Lincoln Heights! I hope that you like it. I took away the other skins for now because I wanted this to be the only layout people see for a little while, but no worries, everything is still intact and they can be added back at anytime.

ONE NEW PICTURE ADDED TO THE GALLERY!
Hey Everyone! How are you? Fine I hope! Well, I've just added 1 new picture of Rhyon to the gallery. In the picture she's with one of her good friends, actor Andre Jamal Kinney. Rhyon and Andre both went to Amazing Grace Conservatory together. Hope you like the picture. It was sent to me by Andre, so much thanks to him.

You can look forward to a few changes coming to the site soon. I'll work on a new layout and some other things. We're less than one month away from the premiere of 'Lincoln Heights' Season 2; it'll premiere on Tuesday, September 4th at 8/7c (New Time)! I'm so excited, I can't wait to see!!!

LINCOLN HEIGHTS SET PICTURES!
Hey Everyone! I've added 3 pictures to the gallery of Rhyon on the set of 'Lincoln Heights'. In the pictures she's with Nieko Mann, who's also a young actress and model from the show 'Friday Night Lights'. Check them out. Rhyon looks really cute in them.



As for the slow updates on the site; I'll post anything I find online or if I get anything from Rhyon's mom but besides that, I'm not trying to spend much time in the house updating websites; I just want to enjoy my summer. So, updates may not be regular again until September when season 2 starts. By then I should be able to give the site a new and better look as well. I'm sorry if my slow updates aren't making you happy but they will start back up when summer is over and there's more to post about Rhyon. Hopefully you understand. =] Enjoy your Summer!

Hey Everyone! For all of you Lincoln Heights fans, I've got some great news! The show has made the list of Top 20 TV shows of the 2006-07 TV season. Not only did it make the list, it is listed as number 3! How great is that! Also, under best new series, Lincoln Heights is rated number 2 out of 5! It's really good to know that the show was such a success! Good job to Rhyon and the rest of the cast and crew. [SOURCE]

I'd also like to add that Season 2 of Lincoln Heights will began shooting this Monday and it's scheduled to air in September. Let's hope that Season 2 of the television series is as much a success as Season 1, if not greater!

SEE RHYON PERFORM IN 'THE WIZ'!
If you live in the LOS ANGELES area you can see Rhyon perform as Dorothy in 'THE WIZ'. It will be showing at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center at 4718 W. Washington Blvd. L.A., CA 90016 on the following dates :: May 12 & 19 at 7:30pm and May 13 & 20 at 6:00pm.

You should all go out if you can because as we know, with Rhyon taking the lead it's going to be a good show!

Just thought you 'Lincoln Heights' Fans would like to know that ABC Family announced in this article that the show will be returning in September 2007 with 10 new episodes!!! Many of us have been wondering when the show would be back so it's nice to know now, right? :)

YUP! IT'Z ME AGAIN...
Hey Rhyon Fans! Time really flies! It do not seem like it's been nearly 2 weeks since I last updated, that was too quick! I've been busy. Well... I added some video caps of Rah from Episode 5 (Spree) to the gallery... and that's actually all I really had time to do right now. Later on I will be able to do more though so don't worry.



I also updated the role play page. I recently had a chance to see Rhyon's first episode of ER. She was so small on there and cute. Her part wasn't big enough to do a video nor caps though, you barely seen her... but if you want to know what role she played on the show then check out the role play page.

Don't forget, next Friday Rhyon's episode of 'NUMB3RS' will air! She plays the role of a young girl whose father is on death row and she wants to visit him before his execution but her mother doesn't want her to.

Hey Everyone!!! Did you all enjoy Lincoln Heights Season Finale tonight? Wow I loved it, it was filled with so much emotion. I'm glad I didn't know everything that was going to happen, that made it all the better. I can't wait to see Season 2!

Today, I was in for a pleasant surprise when I checked my mail and Rhyon sent me a package!!! I was so excited to see what was in it. Haha, one of the things was an autographed picture of her signed personally to me, you can check it out in the gallery if you want! Rhyon's signature is so neat. Thank you Rhyon & her mother for everything!!!

SEASON FINALE REMINDER & GALLERY UPDATE
The SEASON FINALE of Lincoln Heights airs tonight at 7pm on ABC Family. I'm not sure what will go down, they didn't reveal too much so just tune in, I know I will! That was such a quick season, I'm so sad to see it go... but we'll get to see Season 2 soon!!!

I've updated the gallery with some pictures of Rhyon at an event she attended in February I believe. So check them out if you'd like. The beautiful woman with her (in red) is her mother as you can probably tell!

NEW BOOKING & CONTACT INFO.
Hey Yall! I have some Rhyon news finally! She just completed an episode of 'NUMB3RS' (CBS) and it will be airing on Friday, April 27th 2007. As the date approaches we should be able to give you more details on the episode. Congratulations Rhyon!

Also, a few people have asked me how to contact Rhyon; I just put up a contact page under the Rhyon section with both a fan mailing address and email address so go there for the details!

GALLERY UPDATE ... MORE THINGS SOON!
Hey Yall! I added some video caps to the gallery of Rhyon in Episode 10 of Lincoln Heights. I will do a small clip of her from that episode soon. I skipped so many episodes, I want to do caps and clips from them all so look forward to that.



Make sure you tune into Lincoln Heights tomorrow night at 7pm on ABC Family! The episode is called 'House Arrest' [It's Taylor's 13th birthday and Eddie and Jen's fathers pay the family a visit. However, the two men hate each other which builds tension in the home. Meanwhile, Eddie gets an opportunity he has been waiting for.]

Under the 'Fun Zone' section I added a new keeper. Gabriela is now the keeper or Rhyon's Crinkly Hairstyle.

When I have time I will be updating the Lizzie Sutton page so we can keep everyone up to date with everything going on with her in each episode of the show! Last nights episode, 'Tricks Or Treats', was really good and Lizzie had her first kiss... that she wasn't expecting! It was so cute, but most of all I loved the double dutch competition!

Hey Everyone! Thanks for visiting the website and for all the nice comments.

RHYON RELATED: Scholastic News recently posted a article about Rhyon under their POP-Corn section. If you click read more below you can read it as I don't know how long it'll last on their website. It's pretty interesting and we learn a little bit more about Rhyon, like what colleges she plans on going to.

SITE RELATED: I've added 3 new affiliates and I took the events calendar off until I find another one. The one I had on the site had a security hole in it and another website of mine was hacked because of that, I didn't want it happening here too so I removed it.

EDIT: I just wanted to let you all know that thagirlsooreal[@]gmail.com is NOT Rhyon's email address --- it's mine --- so, please don't send emails to Rhyon at that email address. Thanks!

GRAND OPENING - RHYON BROWN ONLINE!
Hey Everyone! Welcome to Rhyon Brown Online a fansite for the young actress Rhyon Nicole Brown who's currently starring as Lizzie Sutton in the new ABC Family Drama 'Lincoln Heights'! I am so happy to finally present to you this website that I've worked so hard on. There's a ton of things here for you to look at and a lot more to come.

You can check out the Rhyon section to learn a little bit more about her and see the Fans and Fun sections for lots of games and goodies. There's also a lot of videos that you can watch of Rhyon acting under the media section. I really hope that you enjoy this site and keep checking back because it's my goal to make it bigger and better! If you do not like the layout that you see there is another selection for you that's much more lightweight and easier on the eyes.
